Sistema Solare
2007-2015
Staging of the “Solar System”. The performance is enacted by the audience. Each participant rotates him or herself and around each other, replicating the geometry of the planets that form the system. The system is formed and distroyed continuously, undergoing substitutions, changes and defections. Participants in the System will be, from time to time, passersby, friends, and spectators who want to improvise a planet and its movement.
A collaboration with fashion designer Isa Griese, in Paris, produced a series of dresses that reflect the colors of the planets, easy to wear and to be exchanged, used by the participants of the system in Paris, Sao Paulo, Brasilia and Bergamo.

The communities inspired by the ideas of Claude Henri de Rouvroy, comte de Saint-Simon in the first half of 19th century, were used to dance and sing under the starry sky, performing the movement of the celestial bodies.
The workshop invited the participants to create a collective dance by following the rules of the Solar System, and then to try and imagine a new possible Solar System, with planets and satellites invented and performed by them.
The final performance was part of the work piece ‘La performance des saint-simoniens’ by Chloé Maillet and Louise Hervé.
