“Italia61” is the reconstruction of the logo of the international expo (Esposizione internazionale del lavoro) held in Turin on the occasion of the celebrations of the centenary of the unification of Italy in 1961. The inscription, originally located at the entrance of the Expo site, was rebuilt by hand as a light-up sign and suspended at the entrance to the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.
